🎃5 Spooky Books to Read on Halloween🎃

Ah Halloween.

Each year when October comes around, a newfound excitement comes blowing in with the cool breezes. Gone are the 90-100 degree days, allowing the trees to turn from green to a vibrant bursting of orange, yellow, and red. Pumpkins find their way out onto doorsteps and cotton spiderwebs appear with little plastic spiders. The world just begins to feel different once we step into October. It’s like F. Scott Fitzgerald said in The Great Gatsby: “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

Along with October and Halloween comes the urge to read somethin spooky. Something that will get your spine tingling and your heart racing. These are, in general, some of my favorite types of books so I’m excited to get to share with you my top ten list of the spooky books you should check out this spooky season! A lot are Stephen King, being the master of horror that he is, but I promise, it won’t be all Stephen King.
